Based in Sandyford in South Dublin, dublinplanthire.ie was first established in 1933. We are specialists in the Hire of Plant and Equipment and have a full range of plant machinery including Micro and Mini Diggers, Excavators and Rollers to suit any requirements you may have.

Thomas Brennan set up his sand and gravel haulage business in 1933, he then expanded his business to include agricultural contracting. In 1958, Thomas’s two sons, Tommy and Michael, began working alongside their father, and the partnership of Thomas Brennan & Sons was born. This partnership flourished, new activities commenced, specialising in plant hire to Dublin County Council and Dublin Corporation. Tractor hire was the mainstay of the business during the 60’s and early 70’s. In the late 70’s we broadened our fleet to include JCB’s. In the early 80’s we expanded our services, so that along with plant hire we were carrying out groundwork, landscaping development as well as landscape maintenance. We invested in trucks complete with cranes and grabs, this enabled us to provide enhanced services to our customers.
